I Vow

To love you passionately as a blind man hearing a reassuring whisper, warming from within

Emotions painting pictures with words, until I can see your heart clearly

I Vow

To be deaf, so I’m able to hear the pounding of your heart, as you slowly mouth the words I long to hear

Entering straight into my veins, until my heart hears your soul

I Vow

To lose my sense of smell, so I can feel your essence, and see your scent in the lingering air

Soaking into my skin as I sweat your fragrance, until I breathe the aroma of your tender kiss

I Vow

To be mute, speechless, in awe of your elegance, my vocals not worthy to sing to your beauty

Tongue tied by a single glance, my lips were sealed until you taught me to speak the word, love

I Vow

To taste nothing, savoring all that you are: lost in the sensation of your sweet skin

Life is our waiter; we continue to feast together until we can dine all night, becoming one

I Vow

To love you numbly; your touch is paralyzing, my back breaks every time you massage my spine with feelings of painful pleasure

Nervous, Unmoving, until you walk with me, to forever

I Vow

To leave my senses, I would undoubtedly give them all up for the simple fact of knowing we’ll always be together

Our hearts intertwined in peaceful bliss, until we both grow old and senseless...
